We’re over at House No.-59/C in Thaghariya, Rajarhat. This part of Kolkata is always growing. The Ambience Hospitabilty Management Pvt. Ltd is based here in a house rather than a big office block. It makes the work day feel a bit different. We have a small kitchen where someone is always making coffee. Most of our time is spent managing things and making sure everything is running okay for our projects. Rajarhat has changed a lot since we first came here. There’s more traffic now and more shops. The office itself is spread across a couple of rooms. We have papers stacked on almost every surface. It’s not perfectly organized, but we know where everything is. The windows look out onto the street, so we see the neighborhood waking up every morning. We don't really have a big staff. It's just a few of us who have been working together for years. We talk about the weather or the local news while we work. It’s a comfortable place, not like those glass buildings you see downtown. We keep it simple. No one wears a suit here. We just wear what’s comfortable and get the work done. It’s a bit of a trek for some people to find us in Thaghariya, but we like it here. It’s our little corner of the city where we keep things moving at our own pace.
