The Ambassador Hotel,New Delhi

The Ambassador Hotel in New Delhi has its presence over at E 87 Preet Vihar. This location is where we handle a lot of our business. Preet Vihar is a very active neighborhood with a lot of shops and houses nearby. Our building at E 87 is a straightforward place. It’s not like those massive, shiny hotels you see in the city center. We keep things much more low-key here. We have rooms for guests and a small area where we manage the check-ins. The staff is local and we’ve been around this part of Delhi for a good amount of time. People choose to stay with us because it’s a bit more personal and less corporate. The lobby isn't huge, but it’s clean and there’s usually someone there to help out. We spend our days making sure the rooms are ready and the guests have what they need. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a light bulb needs changing, and we just handle it ourselves. We don't have a big marketing department or glossy brochures. Most of our guests find us because they want to stay in Preet Vihar specifically. It’s a busy street outside, but inside we try to keep it calm. It’s a simple hotel run by people who live nearby and understand the area well. We just focus on the daily tasks of running the place.
