The Ambassador Hotel

We are located at 17/62 on the second floor in West Punjabi Bagh. It’s a bit different because we aren’t a huge standalone building you might expect when you hear the name The Ambassador Hotel. We are in a residential-style block in New Delhi. The neighborhood is quite nice, with parks and big houses nearby. Being on the second floor means we have a bit of a view of the street. It’s mostly offices and some homes around us. People who stay here usually want something quieter than the main city center. The rooms are just standard, nothing over the top. We have a small staff that takes care of the cleaning and the front desk. Sometimes it gets a bit confusing for delivery drivers to find the right floor. We have a sign out front but it’s not huge. We don't have a big ballroom or a swimming pool. It’s more of a practical place to sleep. We spend our days checking people in and out. The plumbing is old, so we have to keep an eye on it. Punjabi Bagh has some good food spots, so we usually tell guests to go out for a walk. It’s a straightforward business. We just provide a place to stay and try to keep it decent for whoever needs a bed for the night. There is no luxury here, just a simple roof and four walls.
