Thai Wok is located at 65, Vakola Village, Santacruz - East, Bombay - 400055. If you’ve been to Bombay, you know how crowded and lively Santacruz can be. Our place is right in the heart of the village area. We do Thai food, mostly stuff that people can grab and go or have delivered. The kitchen is small but we make it work. It’s always busy with the sound of woks clanking and oil sizzling. We aren't some fancy five-star place with white tablecloths. It’s just a local spot where the food is the main thing. The humidity in Bombay can make the kitchen feel like a sauna sometimes, but we’re used to it. We get our vegetables and spices delivered fresh, and we spend a lot of time prepping sauces. The staff here are like family; we’ve been working together in this small space for a long time. People around Vakola know where we are. We don't spend money on big ads or anything. We just cook and hope people like the taste. Every day is pretty much the same: prep, cook, clean, and repeat. It's a simple life, focused on making decent meals for the neighborhood. If you’re walking through Santacruz - East, you’ll probably smell the garlic and ginger from our street. We try to keep things consistent so people know what they're getting. It’s just how we run things here in the village, keeping the fires going all day long. It's a tough job but we like it.
