T.G.I. Fridays, New Delhi

We’re located over at 2Nd E-61 in Nehru Nagar. It is Ghaziabad, even if the name says New Delhi on some of the paperwork we deal with. Honestly, it gets pretty busy here, especially on the weekends when everyone in the area wants to go out. We are just a group of regular people working the shifts and making sure the food gets to the tables. It’s not always a smooth ride, and sometimes the kitchen gets backed up when the orders pile in all at once. We don’t really do anything fancy or corporate here. It’s just about getting through the day and making sure things are mostly okay. The area around Nehru Nagar has changed a lot lately, and there are more people coming by than there used to be. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and prepping for the next crowd. It’s a lot of work, and the floors get slippery, and the music is probably a bit too loud sometimes. But that’s just how it goes in a place like this. We don’t have any big speeches about what we do. We just open the doors, turn on the lights, and start the day. Most of us have been here a while now, so we know the regulars who come in from around the neighborhood. It's just a regular job for us, and we try to do it right without making a big deal out of things.
