Terrace Garden

We’ve been over here at 395, Kg-I in Vikas Puri for a while now. Most people just know us as Terrace Garden because that’s what we have. It’s a quiet spot, really. We spend a lot of time looking after the plants and making sure the space stays tidy for anyone who stops by. New Delhi can get pretty busy and loud, so having this little bit of green is nice. We aren't a big fancy operation or anything like that. Just a few of us making sure everything stays watered and the chairs are in the right place. Sometimes the weather makes it hard, especially in the summer heat, but we do what we can. People come in, sit for a bit, and then go about their day. We don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby. It's just the house and the garden area. If you're walking around Vikas Puri, you've probably passed us a dozen times without thinking much of it. We like it that way. It's simple. We handle the daily chores, sweep the leaves, and keep things running without making a big fuss. It isn't much, but it's what we do every day. We've been in this neighborhood for years and know most of the people on the street. It’s just a normal place for normal people who want a bit of fresh air and a place to rest. We've seen kids grow up around here and the shops change hands, but we just stay here with the plants.
