Telecaller

Telecaller is a small operation based in House No-276, Street-3 of the X-Block in Brahmpuri. We are located in Delhi 110053, which is a very crowded residential area. Our office is basically a room in the house where we have set up some phones and chairs. It is not a professional call center with headsets and soundproofing. You can often hear the neighbors talking or the sounds of kids playing in the street while we are on the phone. We spend our whole day making calls and writing down notes in our diaries. It gets very hot in the summer because the room doesn't get much of a breeze, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just the house number on the door. People who work here are mostly from the same street or the next block over. We drink a lot of water and try to stay polite even when people hang up on us. The work is repetitive, but it is what we do to get by. We don't have any big goals of becoming a huge company. We just want to make sure we finish our list of numbers for the day before it gets too late. The street outside is narrow, so there is always someone shouting or a bike passing by, making it a very lively place to work.
