Tele Sales Executive

We’ve been set up here in Tilak Nagar at 19/17 B for a while now. It’s a busy spot, mostly just us on our phones all day trying to get through the long list of calls we have to make. The office isn't anything fancy at all, just some basic desks and chairs where we sit and talk to people from morning until evening. It gets pretty noisy in here when everyone is on a call at the same time, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and that's the highlight of the afternoon. We started out small and stayed that way, just focusing on making the calls we are supposed to. Tilak Nagar is a crowded area so there is always something happening outside the window, which helps when you need a quick break from looking at the screen. People often ask what we do exactly and it is just what the name says. We handle sales over the phone, trying to explain things to people who might or might not want to listen. It takes a lot of patience to do this every day without getting frustrated. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or anything like that, just a regular door in a regular street. Most of us live nearby so it's a quick walk or a rickshaw ride to get here. We just try to get the work done and go home.
