Team Leader

Our spot is in Janak Puri, specifically at D1C-50B. New Delhi-58 is the area we call home. The name on the door is Team Leader, which sounds a bit official, but we are actually just a small group of people working out of a residential-style building. Janak Puri is a massive area, but our little corner is relatively easy to find once you get into the D1C block. We don't have a big glass building or a fleet of fancy cars parked outside. It’s mostly just us and our computers. We spend the day coordinating things and making sure the people we work with know where they need to be. It can get a bit chaotic when several things happen at once, and the office isn't exactly the biggest space. There’s usually a pile of papers on the corner desk that someone needs to file, and the fan makes a bit of a clicking noise that we’ve all learned to ignore. We don't do big presentations or have long meetings in boardrooms. We just talk across the desks and figure things out. It’s a very hands-on way of working. Most of us live nearby, so we know the local shops and the best places to get a quick snack when the afternoon slump hits. The office is on a street that gets quite busy during the school run and in the evenings. We’ve got a small balcony.
