Teacher

I am a teacher working out of a place in Mehrauli. The address is 266 P2E, Ward No-2, Delhi-110030. It is a very local setup, right in the heart of one of the oldest parts of the city. I don’t run a big academy or a school with a lot of staff. It is just me in a room where I sit with students and go over their lessons. The building is a normal house in the ward. Mehrauli can be quite crowded and the lanes are narrow, so it takes a bit of time to get used to the directions. My room has some old wooden tables and a few chairs. There are books piled up in the corners and some charts on the walls that have been there for years. I started teaching here because it was convenient for the families nearby. Most of the kids walk over after their school finishes. It gets a bit loud in the afternoons when everyone is talking at once, but that’s just how it goes. I don't use any fancy technology, just pens, paper, and the textbooks they bring. People in the neighborhood know the address well. They just call me the teacher from P2E. It’s a quiet life mostly, centered around the daily schedule of classes. I don’t have a website or any big advertisements. Word of mouth in Mehrauli is usually enough to keep the benches full.
