Tces (Jet Airways)

Our spot is over in Kabool Nagar, Shahdara, and Prachi Sharma is the one usually heading things up here. It is at 1/6040, a regular building in a regular street. We work on things related to Jet Airways, mostly handling the technical or service side of things that people do not always see. It is a small operation compared to the giant airport hubs, but we stay busy. We have a lot of folders and binders full of procedures and guidelines. Most of our time is spent making sure we follow every rule to the letter because in this industry, mistakes are not really an option. We are just local people who have learned the ins and outs of the airline world. The office is not anything special to look at, but it is where we get the job done. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to ask a question, and we help out if we can. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay organized despite the constant stream of emails. It is not a glamorous job, but it is important to us. We do not have a mission statement or anything like that. We just come in, check the messages, and start working through the list of things that need fixing or updating. That is what a typical day looks like for us here in Shahdara, just keeping things moving along as they should.
