Tata - Aig

Our office is located at B-153 in Jawahar Park. This part of New Delhi is pretty crowded, but we’ve made a home for Tata-AIG here. It’s where we handle insurance stuff and all the paperwork for folks in the area. We aren't in a big shiny tower or anything. It’s a more modest building that fits right into the neighborhood. Inside, it’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. We spend our time helping people with their claims or explaining how the different policies work. It’s not always exciting, but it’s important work for the people who come to see us. The staff here is used to the local pace. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay organized, even when the desks get messy. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing all morning, and other times it’s quiet enough to actually get through the stack of forms on the table. We don't use a lot of big words or business jargon. We just tell people what they need to know in plain English or Hindi. Jawahar Park is a busy place, so there’s always something happening outside on the street. We’ve been at this address for a long time, so we’re a fixed part of the street. We don't have any big marketing plans or fancy brochures to show off. We just show up, do the insurance work, and try to be helpful to anyone who walks in. It’s a simple, honest way to run things.
