Tarrace Garden, Tdi Mall, Rajouri Garden, Nd

Running things for Tarrace Garden from our place in Dilshad Garden keeps us pretty busy. The office is really just Flat 878 in Pocket D, where we handle the scheduling and talk to people about their plants. Most of the actual work happens over at Tdi Mall in Rajouri Garden. It's a lot of back and forth across New Delhi. Dealing with gardens means we are always worrying about the weather and if the pipes are leaking. It’s not a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time carrying heavy pots and making sure the soil is just right. Sometimes the plants don't grow like they should, and we have to figure out why. It’s a bit of a struggle with the city traffic when we need to get to the mall quickly. Our team is small, mostly just a few of us who don't mind getting our hands muddy. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that in Dilshad Garden. It's just a functional space where we keep our logs and seeds. We started doing this because we like being around greenery in the middle of all this concrete. It’s hard work, and my back usually hurts by the end of the day. But seeing a garden actually look decent makes it feel okay. We just take it one day at a time here and try to keep the plants alive.
