Our office is up on the second floor of House Number 58 in Satya Niketan. If you’ve been to this part of New Delhi, you know it’s always full of energy and students. We’ve been based here at Taneja Developers & Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. for quite some time. It’s a busy area, so finding parking is always a bit of a nightmare. We just use the space we have. It’s a converted floor in a residential building, which gives it a bit of a lived-in feel. We have a couple of rooms where we look over plans and talk to people. It’s not one of those huge corporate offices with elevators and guards. You just walk up the stairs. Sometimes the stairs are a bit dusty, but that’s just how it is. We deal with developers and infrastructure stuff, but we keep the office side of things very low-key. There’s a lot of noise from the street below, mostly kids from the nearby colleges grabbing snacks. It keeps us from getting too bored. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lounge. We just need a place to sit and work on our projects. Most of the time, the desks are covered in maps and papers. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of Satya Niketan. It’s a good spot for us. It’s practical and simple, just how we like it. We’re just people doing our jobs in a busy neighborhood.
