Tandon Telecom

Tandon Telecom is based in Pitampura, right in the CD Market at S1/4. If you know the market, you know it gets quite packed on the weekends. Our shop is a small unit where we spend most of the day tinkering with mobile hardware and software issues. We started this place because we knew a bit about electronics and wanted to stay local. Most of the time, it's just one or two of us working behind the small counter. We sell a variety of accessories, from simple earphones to those rugged phone cases people like. The shelves are a bit disorganized sometimes, but we can find what a customer asks for pretty quickly. It’s not a shiny showroom. It's more of a workspace where stuff actually gets fixed. We hear all sorts of stories from people who dropped their phones in water or let their kids play with them. We don't make any big promises, we just look at the device and see what can be done. If it's too far gone, we say so. It’s an honest way to run a business in a place like Pitampura. The market has its own rhythm and we are just a small part of it. We keep the lights on until the rest of the shops start closing up for the night. It’s just regular work for regular people. We don't have any fancy marketing, just the word of mouth from people living nearby.
