Tamarind Tour

We are based out of a small office at 193/B in Chirag Delhi. It is a busy little area with a lot of people moving around all the time. We go by the name Tamarind Tour, and mostly we just spend our days looking at travel routes, booking tickets, and talking to people about where they want to go. It isn't a very glamorous job, even though people think travel is exciting. There is a lot of waiting for people to call back and double-checking the dates on tickets. We have a few desks squeezed into the room and a bunch of old brochures that usually end up in a pile. Chirag Delhi is a good spot for us because it is central enough to get around the city. We don't have a big sales pitch or any fancy slogans. Usually, people just come by or give us a call because they know we are here. We try to be honest about what kind of trips are available and what the costs look like. Some travel plans are very easy to make, and others take a lot of emails and phone calls. We just sit here and work our way through the list of tasks. The traffic outside can get really loud, but we are used to it by now. It is just our regular life here in this part of Delhi.
