Our office is up on the third floor in Kalkaji. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift isn't acting up. A-404 is where we handle all the paperwork and phone calls. It gets pretty cramped with all the files stacked up on the desks. We spend a lot of time talking about lodges and travel stuff, even though we’re sitting right in the middle of South Delhi. Kalkaji is always noisy, so there's always background sound of horns and people shouting. We’ve been in this spot for a bit. It’s just a small team of us. We aren't some massive corporation with glass walls. We just have a few desks and a tea kettle that gets a lot of use. Sometimes the electricity goes off for a bit, but we just wait it out. Most of us take the metro or park the bikes down the street. It’s a regular office life. We deal with people wanting to go to the wilderness while we're surrounded by concrete. It's a funny way to work. We don't have a big receptionist or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will probably look up from their computer. We just try to get the bookings right and make sure everything is sorted. It’s hard work but it keeps us busy. We probably should organize the folders better, but there's never enough time in the day for that.
