About Taj Sats Air Catering Ltd – Tourism in Delhi
Working over here at Chander Lok in DLF Phase IV is quite a routine. Being in the Qutab Enclave area means there is always traffic or people moving around. We are mostly busy with the food side of things, specifically for the planes. It’s a lot of packing boxes and making sure everything is sealed up tight. The kitchen stays hot most of the day because the stoves are always going. We have a big team of people doing different jobs, some chopping vegetables and others checking the lists. It gets pretty stressful when the timing is tight, but we manage to get it through. The building itself is just a regular spot at 3319-C, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside is where all the noise happens. We go through a lot of ingredients every single morning. Most of us have been working here for a while, so we know where everything goes without even thinking about it. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the Gurgaon traffic, and we have to scramble a bit. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important because people need to eat when they are flying. We try to keep things clean and organized, though it gets messy when we are in the middle of a big order. We just stick to the tasks and make sure the labels are correct before things head out the door. No fancy mission statements here, just a lot of cooking and packing.
