Taj Palace New Delhi

Our place is at Wz 235B/2 in Inderpuri, New Delhi. People sometimes get us confused with the other famous hotel of the same name, but we are our own thing right here in this local neighborhood. Inderpuri is a very busy kind of place with narrow streets and lots of neighbors who have known each other for a long time. Our building fits right in with the rest of the block. We don’t have a massive lobby with fancy chandeliers or anything like that. It is more about having a reliable roof over your head for the night. We spend a lot of our time making sure the rooms are tidy and that the people staying here have what they need. The staff here is small. We do a lot of the cleaning and maintenance ourselves because we like to know it’s done right. Being at Wz 235B/2 means we see a lot of the local life—the delivery bikes, the neighbors walking by, and the kids playing near the small shops. It’s not a glamorous life, but it is real work.
