Taj Palace Hotel New Delhi

We are located at H-2/52 in Mahavir Enclave. If you know where the Dwarka Dog Clinic is, we are right near that. This isn't the big fancy hotel you might see in brochures; we’re a local spot in New Delhi. The building is just a normal structure on a busy street. We have a few rooms that we keep as clean as we can. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you might see my nephew helping with the bags or my sister at the desk. The area can be quite loud with the traffic and the dogs at the clinic next door, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We spend a lot of our time making sure the plumbing is working and the beds are made right. It’s a lot of manual work. We don’t have a big shiny lobby or a fancy restaurant inside. Usually, we just suggest people go to the stalls down the road if they’re hungry. The power goes out sometimes, but we have a backup to keep the lights on. It’s a simple place for people who need a spot to stay without any fuss. We’ve been in Mahavir Enclave for years and know most of the people around here. It’s not perfect, but we try to make it comfortable for whoever comes through the door. We just focus on the basics every day and keep things moving.
