Down on 33-Foota Road in Dayalpur, things move at their own pace. Our address at E-8/8 isn't what you’d expect when you see a name like Taj Hotels on the letterhead. It’s a local neighborhood in Delhi-94 where everybody seems to know everyone else’s business. We’ve got a small setup here. The road outside is usually busy with bikes and people walking to the local shops. It gets quite dusty in the summer, and we’re always wiping down the desks because the grit just finds its way in through the windows. We’ve been in this building for a bit, and it’s become our second home. There’s a guy who sells parathas just down the street, and that’s usually what we’re eating for breakfast. Inside, the office is pretty basic. We’ve got some chairs that creak and a calendar on the wall that’s usually a month behind. It’s not a place for big meetings or fancy presentations. It’s just where we handle the paperwork and keep things moving. We talk about our families, complain about the heat, and get the work done. The neighborhood is loud, with kids playing and vendors calling out, but it’s got a good energy. We aren't tucked away in some quiet suburb; we’re right in the heart of Dayalpur, dealing with the real world every single day without any pretension. It is just a regular job in a regular part of town, nothing more than that for us.
