Taj Ambassador Hotel

Out here in Janaula, things move a bit slower than in the middle of Gurgaon city. We’re located in the village post office area, so it’s easy to find us if you know the district. This hotel has been part of the landscape for a bit. It’s not one of those glass towers you see in the city; it’s more grounded. We spend our days making sure the rooms are tidy and the water is running right. Sometimes the power cuts out for a minute like it does around here, but we get it sorted. The staff mostly comes from the nearby areas, so we all know each other well. When guests stay with us, they usually comment on how quiet it is compared to the main roads. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking. We just offer a place to sleep and some food when you're passing through or staying for work in the district. The lobby is a good spot to sit when it's hot outside. We keep things simple because that’s what works best for us and the people who stay here. It's a lot of work keeping everything clean and functioning, especially when the weather gets dusty. We just show up, do the laundry, check people in, and keep the place going as best as we can every day.
