T G I Friday'S Restaurant is situated in Jamia Nagar, over in the Okhla area of New Delhi. It is a lively spot, and the address is linked to Md. Irshad Hussian. Jamia Nagar has a very specific feel to it, with lots of students and families around. The restaurant is a place where we spend a lot of our time, obviously. It is not just about the food, but the whole routine of setting up every day. We get in early to make sure everything is ready. The kitchen starts to heat up and the dining area gets straightened out. It is a lot of physical work that most people don't see. We are just a group of people working in Okhla. The streets outside are usually crowded with rickshaws and people walking to the university or the local markets. It can be quite loud, but once you are inside, it feels different. We don't really have a mission or anything like that; we just want to make sure the tables are clean and the orders are right. Sometimes things go wrong, a glass breaks or someone is late, but we just deal with it and move on. It is a real job in a real neighborhood. We have our regulars who come in and the staff knows them by name. It is just a standard part of the community here in Jamia Nagar, and we keep things going.
