T G I Friday

You can find us over at 99-J, Main Gali in Saidulajab, right across from D Block in Saket. This is where Satish Kumar handles things for the T G I Friday setup here in New Delhi. It is a lively area, and being near Saket means there is always something going on outside our doors. We aren't a giant corporate headquarters; we’re just a local spot where we get things done. Most of the day is spent handling the daily tasks that come with running a food and beverage business. We have to make sure the kitchen is ready, the staff is there, and the supplies are all accounted for. Sometimes the deliveries are late, which can be a bit of a headache, but we just deal with it as it comes. It is not always perfect, and sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the Delhi heat, but we keep the place going. We don't have a team of writers making us sound like something we aren't. We are just people working in the service industry, trying to make sure whoever walks through the door has what they need. The neighborhood is a mix of homes and small shops, and we feel like a part of that community. We put in the hours, clean up at night, and do it all over again the next day. It is just how we live and work in this part of the city. We keep it practical and stay busy.
