Sutra Restaurant

Our place is over at T-235/C3, right on Street No.20. We’re in Baljeet Nagar, which is part of West Patel Nagar. It’s a busy, narrow street with a lot of people walking by at all hours. We’ve been cooking here for a while now. The kitchen is small and it gets very hot in the summer, but we like the energy. We don't have fancy menus or expensive decorations. It’s just some tables and chairs and the smell of food cooking. We usually have the radio playing some old songs. Most of our customers are locals who live just a few blocks away. They know us by name and we know what they like to eat. Sometimes the delivery bikes block the entrance, and we have to go out and move them. It’s a bit chaotic, but that’s just how it is in Baljeet Nagar. We spend most of our time prepping vegetables and making sure the stove is ready. We don't have a big team, just a few of us working together. We try to keep things clean and simple. People come here because they want a real meal, not something from a factory. We just do our best every day to make something that tastes good. It’s a humble place, and we are happy with that. We don't use fancy napkins or anything like that, just plain paper ones that do the job fine.
