Supervisor

People often ask what we do here in Beliri, near Somanathapur. It is a quiet part of Balasore, and we mostly keep to ourselves. The office isn't much to look at, just a few desks and some old files, but it gets the job done. We started Supervisor because there was a need for someone to just watch over things and make sure the work was actually happening. It gets pretty hot here in Orissa during the summer, so the fan is always running. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It isn't a fancy corporate life. We know most of the people who walk past our door. If you head down towards Somanathapur, you'll see how the area is growing, but we are still in our same old spot. Usually, the mornings are the busiest because that is when everyone wants answers. By the afternoon, things slow down a little, and we catch up on the paperwork. There is always a lot of writing to do, checking boxes and making notes. It is honest work. We don't have a big website or anything like that. Most people just know where we are if they need us. It is just a few of us trying to stay organized and keep the local projects moving along. Some days are better than others, especially when the rains come and everything cools down. We just keep showing up.
