Super Fine Works

Sector 10 is a bit of an industrial hub, and C 322 is our little corner of it. We call the place Super Fine Works because we try to be precise with the machining and repairs we do. It’s mostly metalwork and fixing mechanical parts that have seen better days. The machines in here are old but they run well because we take care of them. There’s a constant hum of lathes and grinders going. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit. We wear old clothes that can get dirty. Most of our day is spent measuring things and making sure the fit is right. If a piece of metal is off by a hair, it won't work, so we have to be careful. We take on small jobs that big factories won't touch. Local guys bring in broken parts and we see if we can get them running again. It’s satisfying to see something go out the door in better shape than it came in. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, and we sweep up at the end of every day. We don't have a big front office or anything. You just walk in and talk to whoever is operating the machine. It’s straightforward, noisy, and busy, just the way we like it. We have been doing this a long time and just like making things work correctly.
