Sunny Guest House Connaught Place

Even though the name says Connaught Place, you’ll actually find us over at Flat No 264 on the top floor of the LIG Flats in Paschimpuri. We are in Pocket-3, New Delhi-110063. It’s a bit of a journey from the center of town, but it’s where we are based. Being on the top floor means we get a bit of a breeze, which is nice in the Delhi heat. Sunny Guest House is what we call ourselves. It’s a humble setup. We don't have a big lobby or a concierge desk. It’s just us managing the rooms and making sure people have a place to sleep. We spend our mornings checking people out and our afternoons getting everything ready for the next ones. Sometimes the stairs feel a bit long after a full day of work, but that's just part of it. We are regular people running a small business. We don't use fancy booking systems that never work; we mostly write things down and keep track of who is coming and going. It’s practical and a bit old-fashioned. We like talking to the travelers who find their way here. They usually have interesting stories to tell about where they’ve been. We aren't a big hotel chain with uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and try to be helpful. If you’re looking for a quiet spot in the LIG flats, that’s us.
