Our office is B-202 in Motia Khan, which is part of the Paharganj area. If you know Delhi, you know how Paharganj is. It is always moving and there is a lot of noise from the rickshaws and the people walking to the station. We are tucked away in a building that has seen better days. Inside, we have a few desks and some old maps on the walls. We spend our time looking at computer screens and talking to people about where they want to go. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. There is a lot of paper around, mostly receipts and booking forms. We try to keep it organized but things get piled up. We aren't a big corporate office. It's just a few of us here. We go out for lunch at the local stalls nearby. The tea here is strong and we drink it out of small glass cups. Customers come in with a lot of questions. We do our best to answer them without making it complicated. The street outside is narrow and sometimes the cows block the way. That is just how it is in Motia Khan. We have been working from this spot for a long time. It is a practical place for a travel business because everything is so close by. We don't have any slick brochures, just our knowledge of the routes and a few reliable contacts. It works for us and for the people who stop by. We have a few spare chairs for people to sit while they wait.
