You can find Sumit Electronics right in the middle of Old Lajpat Rai Market at shop number 886. If you have ever been to Chandni Chowk, you know how hectic it gets around here with people pushing carts and shouting. Our shop is packed floor to ceiling with all sorts of electronic components, spare parts, and gadgets. It’s a bit of a maze inside honestly, but we know exactly where every transistor and circuit board is hidden. We have been operating out of this market for years. It is a tight space, and sometimes it gets really hot in the summer, but this is where the business is. We deal with a lot of repair guys and hobbyists who are looking for specific parts that they can't find anywhere else. Sometimes we just sell simple things like remote controls or power adapters. There is no air conditioning here, just a couple of old ceiling fans that try their best. We don't really do fancy displays or advertising. People just know us by word of mouth or they stumble upon us while walking through the lanes of Lajpat Rai Market. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and counting small pieces, but it keeps us going. We usually close up once the market starts thinning out in the evening.
