Subway At Igi Airport Delhi

Working at this Subway location is a bit unique because even though the name mentions the Igi Airport in Delhi, we are actually situated at B-180 in the Village and Post Office area of Jaunti. It is a bit of a journey for some but for those of us who work here, it is just our daily spot. We spend a lot of time standing behind the glass counter reaching for the different breads and fillings that people ask for. The smell of the baking bread is something you get used to after about ten minutes of being here. It is a small shop and we have to keep everything very organized so we don't run out of lettuce or napkins in the middle of a rush. Jaunti is a quiet place compared to the middle of the city but we still get a fair share of people coming through who are looking for something quick to eat. The floor needs sweeping pretty much every hour because of the crumbs and people walking in from the street. We have a couple of small tables for people to sit at but most folks just take their food and head out. It is a straightforward job where we follow the recipes and try to keep the vegetables looking fresh. We just do our shifts and talk to the regulars who live nearby in the village area.
