Stracon Back Office Solutions Ltd. is situated in Govindpuri, right in the Kalkaji area of New Delhi. It is a very crowded neighborhood with narrow streets and lots of shops everywhere. Our office is busy from the morning until quite late. We handle back-office work, which means a lot of data, typing, and checking details for other businesses. It’s not very glamorous, but it keeps us busy. The sounds of the traffic and the honking from the main road always reach up to our windows. We have a lot of computers lined up and the wires are everywhere under the desks. Space is tight, so we all sit pretty close to each other. Lunch is usually eaten at the desk or sometimes we go down to the local stalls for a quick bite. The metro station isn't too far, so most of us commute that way. It’s a fast-paced environment because there is always a deadline to meet. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture. We just use what we have to get the job finished. Sometimes the water cooler breaks and we have to wait for the repairman to fight through the Govindpuri traffic to get here. It is just a normal office where people work hard and go home tired. We all know each other well enough to talk about our lives while we work. It keeps things okay during the long afternoons when the sun is hitting the glass.
