Our office is tucked away in the E-6 D.D.A Flats over near Kali Masjid in Ajmeri Gate. If you know the area, you know it’s always moving and a bit loud outside with all the traffic and people everywhere. We’ve been working out of this spot for a good bit of time now. Most of what we do involves sorting out travel details for folks who are heading out of the city or coming back home from a trip. It gets pretty cramped inside when we have a lot of files piled up on the desks, but we know where everything is. The stairs up to the flat can be a bit of a climb if you aren’t used to it, especially in the summer. We usually start the day with some hot chai and then dive into the bookings. Ajmeri Gate has that old Delhi feel that you just don't get in the newer parts of town. We deal with all sorts of people, from students to families. There isn't much luxury here, just desks and computers and a lot of maps on the walls. We try to keep things simple. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait a bit, which gives us time to chat with anyone waiting. It’s a very practical setup. We aren’t some big corporate glass building; we are just here in the flats doing the work that needs to be done every single day.
