Steward

Our workplace is at 1/50 near the Egypt Embassy on Niti Mark Chanakiyapuri New Delhi. It is a very formal part of the city, so we try to keep things orderly around here. We handle various tasks that fall under the steward name, mostly keeping things running smoothly in this specific area. The streets are wide and quiet around the embassy, which makes for a peaceful environment to work in. We don't have a big sign out front or anything. Most people who come here already know where we are located. Our daily routine involves a lot of checking on things and making sure the facility is in good shape. It’s a small team of us. We share a tiny break room where we drink tea and talk about the news. The building is older, so there is always something that needs a bit of fixing or a coat of paint. We aren't a huge corporation with fancy offices. Just a group of people doing their jobs in a nice part of town. Sometimes we see the diplomatic cars go by, which is about as exciting as it gets. We focus on the practical side of things, like keeping the entries clear and the paperwork sorted. It's a decent place to spend the day and we've gotten quite used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It's steady work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening every day.
