Steward

Steward is on the first floor at 85/B in Humaun Pur, which is part of the Safdarjung Enclave area in Delhi. To get up to us, you have to take the stairs which are a little narrow and steep. The office itself is one of those typical Delhi spaces where every inch is used for something. We have our desks pushed up against the walls to make some space in the middle. The windows look out onto the street, so we see all the people going to the market or walking their dogs. It’s a lively neighborhood and that energy definitely comes into the office. We don’t have a big corporate sign, just a small plate near the bell. Inside, it feels quite cozy, maybe a little too cozy when it’s the middle of summer. We have a couple of filing cabinets that are overflowing with folders and a few plants that we sometimes forget to water. Most of the time, we are just sitting here working through our tasks and talking about what to have for dinner. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We don’t wear suits or anything like that. Usually, it’s just jeans and t-shirts. We’ve been in this Humayun Pur spot for a bit and we like the vibe of the place. It’s practical and it serves us well for what we do. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily business as it comes without any fuss.
