Our small office is located at House No 42B, specifically in Room No 24. We are in Gali No 1 of Shiv Coleney, which is over in Ballabhgarh, Faridabad. It is an industrial kind of area, very busy and often quite dusty. The room we work out of isn't very big, so things feel a bit tight when we have all our equipment in there. We do technical work, mostly involving drawings and planning on the computer. Since it’s just one room in a larger building, we share the space with the sounds of the neighborhood. You can always hear someone working nearby or the sound of bikes in the gali. We don't have any fancy furniture, just some sturdy tables and chairs that have seen better days. The walls are a bit bare, and we usually have a calendar or two pinned up to keep track of the dates. It gets very hot during the Haryana summers, so the ceiling fan is always running on high. We aren't a big corporation with many floors; it’s just us in Room 24 doing our bit. We usually take our lunch outside or just have something quick at the desk. It’s a simple way of working. Most people in Shiv Coleney know we are here if they need something technical looked at. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the tasks finished by the end of the day.
