Stayxs.Com(I)Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi

Our office is on the second floor of S-283 in Shakarpur. If you know Delhi, you know Shakarpur is pretty packed. It’s a typical East Delhi spot, lots of narrow lanes and tall buildings close together. Stayxs.Com is where we manage our online stuff. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms where we keep the servers and desks. We’ve got a mix of people here. Some handle the website, others are on the phones. It gets a bit loud when everyone is talking at once. The second floor stays a bit cooler than the top, which is nice in June. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake. There’s a lot of paperwork even though we’re an internet company. You have to walk up the stairs, no lift here. It’s good exercise, I guess. We see the same people every day in the street below. It’s a very local vibe. We aren't trying to be some big tech giant with bean bags and free food. We just come in, do our hours, and head home. Sometimes we stay late when the site has issues. It’s honest work. Shakarpur is a bit of a maze, but we’ve made our home here. The noise of the traffic outside never really stops, but you get used to it after a week. We like the local food stalls nearby for a quick snack. It’s a real place for real workers.
