State Express

Our office is located at 101 Gulmohar Enclave, which is a nice enough place to spend the day. State Express has a small space here where we manage all the daily tasks. It’s usually pretty calm in the mornings until the phones start ringing around ten o’clock. We have a few desks and some tall cabinets where we keep all the customer records. The lighting isn't the best, so we often have a couple of desk lamps going even during the day. We spend a lot of time checking schedules and making sure the paperwork is in order for everyone. There is a small park nearby where we sometimes go to sit for a few minutes if the office feels too small. We keep a box of biscuits in the drawer for when we get hungry in the afternoon. The walls are painted a dull cream color and we have a clock that ticks a bit too loudly. People who come to visit us usually comment on how quiet the area is compared to the rest of the city. We don't have any flashy signs or big displays in the window. It’s just a practical office where we get through our list of things to do. We’ve become part of the routine here in Gulmohar Enclave over the years we have been open. Most of our work is done through calls and emails, but we enjoy meeting people face to face.
