Our office is tucked away in Safdarjung Enclave, over at 106E in Room 5B. It's on 7th Street, which is a pretty well-known part of New Delhi. We call ourselves Stanford Hospitality, though we aren't a big hotel or anything like that. We’re more of a small group of people working out of a room to manage things. The area is usually full of cars and people walking to the local shops. It can be hard to find a parking spot if you come late in the morning. We’ve been here for a couple of years now. The office is small but it fits all our files and the two desks we use. We spend most of our time on the phone or answering emails about different guest houses and rooms we look after. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy reception desk. Usually, someone is just sitting there with a cup of tea working through a spreadsheet. We like being in Safdarjung because it’s central and easy to get to the other parts of the city from here. The neighbors are mostly quiet, except for when the vegetable sellers come by with their carts. We just focus on our daily tasks and try to keep everything organized. It’s basic, honest work and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. Just a small team in a small room doing our bit.
