Standard Chartered Bank

This is about the Standard Chartered Bank side of things, where many of us are graduates from Delhi. We are located right here in India, handling the day-to-day stuff that comes with banking. It’s not all fancy suits and big glass buildings like you might think. A lot of it is just sitting at a desk, checking numbers, and making sure everything adds up. We have people from all over Delhi working here. Some of us went to the local colleges and stayed in the city to work. We talk a lot about our time as students while we’re drinking our afternoon tea. The work can be a bit dry sometimes, but it’s important. We don't use any of that marketing speak about being the best because we're just people doing a job. We have to be careful with the details, which can be tiring by the end of the day. The office is usually pretty quiet, except for the occasional sound of the stapler or someone's phone ringing. We've got a rhythm to how we do things. It’s a predictable life, but there’s something nice about that. We aren't looking to change the world, just to make sure our part of the bank runs the way it’s supposed to for everyone involved. It feels like a steady place to spend your career without too much fuss or drama.
