You can find Srilankan Airlines at A 176 Meera Bagh, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi 110087. This isn't a massive airport terminal; it’s just our office in a residential neighborhood. Meera Bagh is a pretty settled area with lots of houses and small parks. Our building is a regular house that has been converted into office space. We have the ground floor and it stays relatively cool because of the trees outside the gate. Working here is different from being at a big commercial hub because it is much quieter. We spend our days dealing with ticketing and helping people who have questions about their flights. Most of our furniture is a bit mismatched because we’ve added pieces over the years as we needed them. There’s a small shop down the street where we get our morning samosas. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to make us sound more important than we are. We are just a small team in Paschim Vihar making sure the paperwork for the airline gets handled properly. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait for pages to load, which gives us time to chat about what we’re having for dinner. It’s a low-key environment and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done every day until it is time to go.
