Sri Ganesh Forwarders

We operate out of a space near Mata Chowk on the Vasant Kunj Road in Mahipalpur. It is a very chaotic area because it’s so close to the airport and all the big cargo hubs. Our office is part of the K-847 building, and it’s mostly just a place to manage the paperwork for the forwarding business. There is always a layer of dust on everything because of the heavy trucks rumbling past the front door all day and night. The floor is made of rough concrete and we have heavy wooden pallets stacked up in the back area. Most of our day is spent on the phone, tracking where shipments are and talking to drivers who are tired from the road. We have a small desk for the accounts and another one for the shipping logs. It’s not a clean or quiet job; there is always someone shouting over the engine noise or a phone ringing loudly. We drink our tea standing up because there aren't many places to sit down. The walls are bare except for a dusty map of India and a few clipboards hanging on nails. It’s a tough business and the hours are long, but we’ve been doing this for a while now and we know how to get things through the customs chaos. It is just a hardworking office in one of the busiest parts of the city. We keep the shipments moving no matter what.
