Spicejet

We are doing things a bit differently for Spicejet out here in Guwahati. Our setup is actually located at House No.23, right on the 7th Bye Lane in New Sarania. It is Prabin Barthakur’s place, and we have been using it as our local point for a while now. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but it is a nice, quiet spot to get through the daily tasks. We handle a lot of the local coordination and paperwork that comes with running things in this part of Assam. It isn't a big airport terminal or a glass building downtown. It’s just a regular house where we keep our files and do our work. Priyanku is usually around making sure things are moving along. The neighbors are used to seeing us coming and going at odd hours, which is just how it is when you are tied to the travel industry. We deal with a lot of bits and pieces that people might not think about when they book a flight. It’s mostly about making sure the back-end stuff is sorted. Some days are slower than others, but when the phones start ringing, it gets pretty busy inside these rooms. We don't have a big sign outside or anything. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done to keep things running for the local area. It is a small team and we like the quiet of New Sarania.
