Spicejet

You can find us at C1/122 in Janak Puri. It is a typical West Delhi setup, nestled in one of the many blocks here. We aren't in a big airport terminal or a high-rise tower. We are just here in a regular building on a regular street. The rooms are a bit small, and we’ve had to be creative with how we fit the desks and the printers. Janak Puri is a massive place, so getting here can be a bit of a trek if you are coming from the other side of the city. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, and we often watch the vegetable vendors go by with their carts. It gets quite dusty, so we have to wipe down the monitors every morning before we start. There’s a tea stall just around the corner that makes the best ginger chai, and that’s basically what fuels our afternoons. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and a map. It is a practical office for practical people. We handle the Spicejet business from these desks, answering phones and typing away. Sometimes the air conditioner struggles when the Delhi heat gets really bad in June, but we manage with a couple of extra table fans. It’s just a normal day-to-day routine for us. We do the work, lock up in the evening, and head home like everyone else. It's nothing special but it's where we work.
