We work out of the office at A 37 Duggal Colony here in New Delhi. It’s not the airport, but we handle a lot of the back-end stuff that keeps things running for Spicejet. There are always papers to file and phones ringing with people asking about flights or tickets. It gets a bit loud in the office when everyone is talking at once, but we manage to get through the day. Duggal Colony is a regular neighborhood, so it’s nice being tucked away from the main chaos of the city sometimes. We’ve been here for a bit now, and the routine doesn't change much. We check schedules, deal with customer questions, and try to make sense of the bookings. It’s a lot of screen time and sitting at desks. Sometimes the systems go slow and we just have to wait it out, which is frustrating for everyone. We try to keep things organized, though desks usually end up covered in notes by the afternoon. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of logistics and making sure the information is correct for the flights. Every now and then we have to stay late if there’s a big change in the flight plans. Most of us have been doing this for a while, so we know the drill. It’s just a steady stream of work to keep the airline moving like it should.
