Most people think of the big airport or the planes when they hear the name, but our day-to-day happens right here in this part of New Delhi. Sarojini Nagar is famous for the market, so it’s always crowded and loud outside our doors. Sometimes it’s a struggle just to get through the streets because of all the shoppers and stalls. Our office isn't very large. It’s packed with computers and people talking on headsets. We handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes work that makes sure things stay on track. It can get pretty stressful when there are delays or weather issues, but we just buckle down and deal with it. We drink way too much tea to stay alert. The furniture is a bit worn out from years of use, and there’s always a stack of papers somewhere that needs filing. We don't have time for fancy decorations or polished speeches. It’s a fast-paced environment where everyone is just trying to keep up with the schedule. The humidity in the summer makes the office feel a bit stuffy, but we have the fans going all day. We’re just a bunch of regular employees doing the daily grind. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s important. At the end of the day, we’re just glad to have finished another shift in one piece despite all the noise outside.
