Spice Jet Airlines Ltd

Our office is at 173 Okhla Head, right near the canal. It is a bit tucked away, so people sometimes get lost finding us the first time. The area is always buzzing with people and bikes. We spend most of our time dealing with the logistics of Spice Jet Airlines Ltd. It’s not all flying and clouds; there is a lot of paper and computer work involved. The noise from the street comes in through the windows. We’ve got a small team here. We share a kettle for tea and coffee. The canal nearby isn't the prettiest sight, but it’s a landmark for us. When people ask where we are, we just say "near the canal" and they usually find it. It’s a practical space. We don't have those fancy airport lounges here. It's just desks and chairs and a lot of phone calls. Sometimes the internet is slow and we all just sit and wait for it to come back. We talk about our own travel plans during lunch. Most of us have been working in this New Delhi office for a long time. We know which food stall nearby has good samosas for the afternoon break. It’s a regular job in a busy part of the city. We just keep things moving behind the scenes every day until the sun goes down and we can go home. There is always more to do tomorrow.
