Being in an old compound means the surroundings are a bit industrial and gritty. It is not the kind of place you would expect to find a business named Spice Garden, Malaysia, but here we are. The area is mostly filled with workshops and small factories, so there is often the sound of machinery or trucks moving around in the background. Our office is fairly simple. We have the basic necessities like a few chairs, a couple of desks, and a computer that we share. Ferozepur is a smaller city compared to the big metros, so life moves at a different pace here. We don't have a lot of walk-in customers because of where we are located, so we do most of our communicating over the phone or through messages. The air gets quite dusty in the summer, and the winters are surprisingly cold in this part of Punjab. We keep a small heater under the desk for those months. It’s an honest place to work, and we don't put on any acts. We just manage the operations we have here, keep our records straight, and try to stay productive despite the occasional power cuts that happen in Gobind Nagari. It’s just us doing our thing in a quiet corner of the city.
