Spice Cinema

Spice Cinema is located at A-4/7 inside the D.D.U Hospital Residential Complex in Harinagar. It’s a bit tucked away, which makes it a nice local spot for people living in the complex and the surrounding New Delhi-110064 area. We aren't one of those massive multiplexes you see in the malls. It’s a more personal experience here. We have our screens and we show a mix of the latest movies. The lobby is simple and we keep a small snack counter with popcorn and drinks. Working at a cinema in a residential complex means we see the same faces quite often. It’s a friendly atmosphere. We spend our shifts checking tickets, showing people to their seats, and making sure the sound and picture are just right. It gets really busy during the evening shows, especially when a big movie comes out. During the day, it’s much quieter, which gives us time to clean up and get ready for the crowds. Harinagar is a good neighborhood, and we like being the place where people come to relax for a couple of hours. We don't have any corporate frills. We just want to show movies and make sure people have a decent time. It’s a lot of work behind the scenes, but we enjoy seeing people walk out happy after a show. The projector room is where the real magic happens, even if it is just a lot of hums and clicks.
