If you find yourself in Laxmi Nagar, you might pass by our spot in the J&K Block. We’re in House No 11-A, which is a busy little area of Delhi. It’s a lot of noise and movement outside, with people going to the metro or the market nearby. Inside our office, it’s mostly just the sound of people talking on their headsets. We handle a lot of calls and data work here. It’s the kind of place where the computers are always on and there’s always someone sitting at a desk, even if it’s late at night. We don't have fancy office furniture or a lounge area. We just have our desks and chairs and a small space for breaks where the kettle is always on. The people who work here are mostly young and looking to get some experience in the city. We talk a lot during the breaks about movies or what’s happening in the news. It’s a hard-working vibe but we try not to let it get too stressful for anyone. Some days are better than others, especially when the internet is running smooth and without any glitches. When things break down, we all just have to sit and wait for the tech guy to arrive. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide a service that people need and make sure the bills are paid. It’s honest work and we do our best with what we have in this small office space, day in and day out.
